Cindy Miller, 61, who owns a fitness studio, and Cisca Stellhorn, 57, an attorney, swam a half mile, biked 12 miles and ran 3.1 miles in a recent Danskin triathlon.
It was a special triumph for Cisca, who rehabilitated from a near-fatal bike accident in January, 2006, to compete in her first triathlon.
Cindy has been competing in triathlons for seven years, but says she still feels elated every time she finishes a race.
