Information about Classified Ads:

'Not Born Yesterday!' has a large classified advertising section with a variety of headings for specific products and services. Ads are typeset at no charge in standardized type with the first line capitalized. Drop boxes for replies are available for a fee, or you can place your own phone number or address in the ad for a direct reply. The editor reserves the right to refuse any ad deemed objectionable to our readers. Ads for "900" numbers are not accepted. Classified ads are printed in all 115,000 copies of the publication, including any regional editions.

Personal ads (seeking companionship) are $0.50 per word per insertion. All other ads are $1.00 per word per insertion. Telephone numbers, including the area code, count as one word. Otherwise, words are defined as anything that starts and ends with a space. Ads should be mailed to:

Ads which are received after the 15th of the month are accepted on a space available basis only. Payment for the ad should accompany the ad copy. We do not accept credit cards. A copy of the ad page of the paper will be sent after publication as proof that the ad was printed if an address is included with the payment.
